Warriors win tournament’s consolation title

Willowbrook High School’s girls basketball team played four games in the Bill Neibch Holiday Classic at Wheaton North High School. The Warriors lost their first game in the 16-team event, which took place Dec. 26-29. Willowbrook then won its next three games to win the tournament’s consolation championship. The Warriors are pictured after their 51-44 victory over Glenbard South in the consolation final on Dec. 29. The win gave Willowbrook an overall season record of 8-8.
