ROBERT B. BRUNTON
Robert Bruce Brunton, 76, of Lombard passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol, née Rade; loving father of Jamie (Jim) DeLuca and Glenn (Jane Mocarski) Brunton; devoted grandfather of Adam and Ryan DeLuca, and Henrietta and Edith Brunton; fond brother of the late Richard (Bonnie) Brunton; son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Reichenbach) Brunton; fond uncle of many.
Bob graduated from Waynesburg College in 1968. He started working for Northwestern Mutual in 1969 and remained with the “Quiet Company” for the next 43 years.
Bob was active in his community. He was a longtime member of the Villa Park Kiwanis Club and a founding member of the Lombard Kiwanis Club. Bob also held several positions within the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District of Kiwanis. He served one term on the School District 45 Board of Education.
After retiring, Bob volunteered for several years at the Edward-Elmhurst Lombard Center for Health. Most importantly, Bob was an active member of Community Presbyterian Church in Lombard for over 40 years, serving in many different capacities.
Visitation Monday, November 28th, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (three blocks south of Roosevelt Road). In-state Tuesday, November 29th, at Community Presbyterian Church, 1111 E. Madison Ave., Lombard, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Community Presbyterian Church are appreciated.

Joseph B. Doran, age 93, of Lombard, died Nov. 13, 2022.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 18, at Christ the King Church, 1501 S. Main St, Lombard. Interment was at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.

Charlotte Hermann, née Jaeger, age 85, of Lombard. Beloved wife of the late William E. Hermann; loving mother of William (Sheana) Hermann and Greg (Lisa) Hermann; devoted grandmother of Liam, Kallin and Adler Hermann, and Patrick (Carly) Mueller, and Molly Mueller; fond sister of Joan (the late Patrick) Brennan, and Wesley Jaeger; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 21, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16060 E. Lindenwood Rd., Lindenwood, IL 61049. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery.

KATHLEEN MALLOY-NIXON
Kathleen (KAM) Malloy-Nixon of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Lombard and Addison, and a graduate of Glenbard East High School, passed away July 29, 2022, after a battle with cancer.
Kathleen was the mother of Callie Nixon (Nic Rada) of Bloomington, Illinois, and Zachery Nixon of Normal, Illinois. Sister of Lynn Kokenes (James) of Westmont, Illinois. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
