The York Center Park District on Wednesday, July 20, hosted a visit from animal educators with New Lenox-based Incredible Bats, who brought a variety of scaled, feathered and furry animals to delight the summer camp participants. One photo shows Sharon Peterson (right) showing campers a corn snake. Incredible Bats was founded in 1996 by Dan Peterson Sr., a bat naturalist, and Sharon Peterson, a teacher/librarian and trained bat conservationist. Also pictured (left) is Dan Peterson Jr. with Maxi the skunk.
