Foundation 205 launches annual tree sale

Yes, it’s Christmas in July (or August, rather).

Foundation 205 has launched their annual outdoor tree sale benefiting Elmhurst District 205 Schools.  Trees are on sale now with early bird pricing of $30 at the Foundation website: Foundation205.org.

A long-standing Elmhurst tradition, the tree sale provides high quality Scotch Pines from Michigan to adorn the front yards of our community.  Residents may pick up their trees or have them delivered directly to their doorstep.  Last year over 2500 trees were sold to make Elmhurst shine during the holiday season!

“A new partnership with Elmhurst Bank has allowed us to present the tree sale with the same kind of service and quality Elmhurst residents have come to expect, despite higher costs for trees and shipping,” said Kate Knicker, executive director of Foundation 205.  “We’re grateful for their support as we continue this unique Elmhurst tradition.”

Trees will remain on sale through the end of September, but early-bird pricing ends Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Foundation 205 is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting innovative educational opportunities in Elmhurst Public Schools.  This year the Foundation will reinvest more than $350,000 to directly support students and teachers in our district.
