John “Jack” Raymond Tegmeyer, of Elmhurst, passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 90. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. military. Beloved husband of Marlene M. Tegmeyer for 66 years; loving father of Paula Serfling (Brian) Nugent; grandfather of Rachel Serfling (Aurelien Henry) and Emily Serfling (Colton McElheny); brother of the late George Tegmeyer, Carol Tegmeyer Krantz and his twin Gerald E. Tegmeyer; uncle of Lisa Tegmeyer and Gerald (Cindy) Tegmeyer as well as many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – The Ahlgrim Chapel, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst.
