It’s been a while since Elmhurst has been hit by a bad storm such as the one that blew through town on Monday, June 13, but nature showed her fury once again. This damaged tree is located on the south side of Alexander Blvd. just west of Hawthorne. Neighbors said City of Elmhurst crews were on the scene the very next morning at 7 a.m.
