On May 19, over 200 pounds of adult diapers and 12 diaper bags filled with formula and other infant products were donated to the Outreach House in Lombard. Donations were collected from various members of the Dawoodi Bohra community in the Chicagoland area. Project Rise is a global Dawoodi Bohra initiative whose sole mission is to help the less fortunate in any capacity. The Chicago chapter of Project Rise is comprised of 15 members from the lead to project managers and project liaisons. The Project Rise headquarters are at Willowbrook Mosque located at 10S252 Kingery Hwy, Willowbrook. They serve different communities within the Chicagoland area offering food to the homeless, sustainment projects, packing items for families in neighboring schools and making donations to organizations like Little City Foundation, HCFS Family Services, to name a few.
