Participants include County Board, Forest Preserve Board; League of Women Voters plans Candidate’s Forum;

On Sunday, May 15 from 1:30-6 p.m., the LWV Elmhurst plans to hold an in-person candidate forum at Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York Road, for those running in the upcoming General Primary Election on Tuesday, June 28.

The candidates have been invited in the following contested races:

1:45 to 2:15 p.m.

Republican candidates for DuPage County Forest Preserve Board of Commissioners (District Two)

2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Democratic candidates for Dupage County Board (District Two)

3:45 to 4:45 p.m.

Republican candidates for DuPage County Board (District Two)

5 to 5:45 p.m.

Republican candidates for DuPage County Board Chairman

NOTE: While the League had hoped to also feature Republican candidates for DuPage County Board (District One), there would have been an insufficient number of participants available on the day of the candidate forum.
