Lombard Firefighters Union Local 3009 recently presented a $500 check to the Rotary Club of Lombard to support the Rotary Club’s annual Warm Coats Project. Every year for the past 10 years, the Rotary Club has purchased new winter coats, snow pants, boots and hats for disadvantaged students in local elementary and middle schools through the Warm Coats Project. Members of the club believe that taking care of their basic needs allows the children to better focus on school and boosts their confidence.
