Montini Catholic High School’s boys basketball program won its first IHSA regional championship in 39 years on Friday, Feb. 25. The Broncos defeated IC Catholic Prep 67-57 in Friday’s IHSA Class 2A regional final in Elmhurst. Montini advanced to the Marengo Sectional. The Broncos had not won a boys basketball regional title since 1983.
