Young entrepreneurs donate proceeds to Lombard Police Department

Lana (left) and Ayla (right) Wolsztyniak of Lombard started Bucky’s Biscuits in 2020 (named after their dog Bucky). That year, they made dog biscuits and sold them, with the proceeds going to the Lombard/Villa Park Food Pantry and Turning Wheels Foundation. Last year, they decided to make tie-dye ZIP Code dish towels and donate the proceeds to the Lombard Police Department for safety equipment and pet supplies for Thor—the Lombard Police Department’s K9 German shepherd. The Wolsztyniak sisters are Hammerschmidt Elementary School students who are very creative and caring young ladies. They are involved in the Tri-County YMCA Indian Princesses, and play soccer and softball as well. In the above, photo, from left to right, are Lana Wolsztyniak, Lombard Police Chief Roy Newton and Ayla Wolsztyniak.
