Sledding in a winter wonderland

The snow that fell on Lombard recently made travel difficult and forced many to shovel their driveways and sidewalks if they didn’t have a snowblower. But for sledding enthusiasts, the snow was a godsend. The fresh snow provided a nice base on the hill at Sunset Knoll park on which to sled. Sledders of all ages took to the hill on snowboards or saucers of all shapes and sizes—including this father and his 16-month-old son (top left photo).
