ROSEMARIE ANDERSON
Rosemarie Anderson (née Albers), age 97, of Lombard (formerly Villa Park), passed away on 1/31/2022.
Beloved wife and best friend for 64 wonderful years of the late Richard J.; dear mother of William (Susan), Brian (Cynthia), and Craig (Francine). Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Fond sister of Peggy (the late Kenneth) Bales and fond sister-in-law of Robert (Mary Ann) Anderson. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Rosemarie was born and raised in Iowa to Will and Adeline Albers, graduated from Monticello High School and received her postgraduate degree in Nursing from Moline Lutheran Hospital School for Nurses. In her last six months of training she was assigned by the War Department to Fletcher General Hospital in Cambridge, Ohio, where she trained as a surgical nurse.
After receiving her R.N. she was employed at Passavant Hospital in Chicago. She later worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a nurse editor. Rosemarie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Villa Park since 1958. She was a member of the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild.
A memorial service will be held in the early spring at Beacon Hill, 2400 S. Finley Road, Lombard, IL 60148. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Paul Outreach (Daycare), 545 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, IL 60181, would be appreciated.

WILLIAM S. BAILEY
William Steven Bailey, age 69, suddenly, lifelong resident of Lombard, died February 9, 2022, at his home.
William was the dear father of William James Bailey of Arizona and Louis (Shannon) Bailey of South Carolina; grandfather of three: Eliza, Damien and Grace; loving brother of Kathleen Kelly of West Chicago, Peggy Bailey of Aurora, Denise (Ray Smith) Bailey of Florida, and Michael (Julie) Bailey of Wheaton; fond uncle of Sean (Aly) Bailey of Chicago and Kyle Bailey of Wheaton.
William attended Sacred Heart Grade School and was a graduate of Montini High School. He had formerly worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Lombard and at West & Sons Towing.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, February 16, from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, thence to a Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard. Private Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

MARION L. BURNS
Marion L. Burns, age 95, a resident of Lombard, since 1958. Mr. Burns was born in Decatur, Illinois, on March 28, 1926, and attended Decatur High School, Illinois Institute of Technology and served for the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Franklin during WWII. He was a longtime member of Lombard Bible Church and enjoyed gardening and watching his favorite Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.
Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his loving wife Mildred of 63 years; his parents James and Gertrude Burns; and his siblings James, Darwin, David and Delores. He is survived by six children, Cathie (Robert) Plevney, Jeff (Barbara) Burns, Debra (Jack) Cagle, Linda (Joseph) Cunningham, Cindi (Ted) Stoecker and Sharon (Mark) Southard, along with 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 14, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd, Lombard.

MARION B. O’NEILL
Marion B. O’Neill, 95, a resident of Lombard for 64 years, passed away on February 12, 2022, peacefully in her home.
She was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on March 14, 1926, to Vincent and Bertha (Hauge) Thomas and was a 1944 graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School. She attended Eau Claire State Teachers College for two years.
Marion enjoyed a career as an administrative secretary prior to her marriage to Thomas P. O’Neill, Jr. She was a dedicated wife and business associate to her husband Tom, a loving stay at home mom, a loving grandma and great grandma as well as a gracious neighbor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, her brother Lawrence Thomas, and two sisters, Ione Brorson and Dorothy St. Louis.
Marion is survived by her children, Mary Pelc (Richard) of Libertyville, Patrick (Kathleen) O’Neill of Estero, Florida, Michael O’Neill of Lombard, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on February 18 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd, Hillside IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in appreciation for the members of the hospice team who extended loving care to our mother for the last two years of her life, care of Mary Pelc. Each one of the team of 6 made such a difference for our mom and our family.

GREGORY WYROBEK
Gregory Jerome Wyrobek, age 50, passed away on Jan. 31. Loving father of Leilani; beloved son of the late Ronald Wyrobek and Renee Wyrobek, née Tomasek; dear brother of Paul and David.
Gregory was an accomplished bowler, extraordinary musician, golfer, and runner.
