On Monday, Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Elmhurst Art Museum and RGL Marketing for the Arts is holding Art from the Heart: Valentines for Seniors, a special gathering to prepare valentines to be delivered to seniors at Park Place of Elmhurst for Valentine’s Day.
Thanks to you, more than 350 special handmade cards were given out last year, and it is hoped that the same thing will happen this year. Sharing your time and talents is greatly appreciated by the residents at Park Place of Elmhurst.
If you cannot make the event on Feb. 7, beginning Wed, Jan. 5, free Valentine’s Day card-making kits will be available at the Museum’s main entrance to pick-up and prepare at home. Finished cards can be put in the mailbox on the exterior of the museum by Mon, Feb 7 to be included in the delivery to Park Place. For more information, please send an email [email protected].
