Margaret T. Kalina, age 89, of Lombard. Beloved wife of the late Robert Kalina; loving mother of Michael (Kathy) Kalina, Patricia (Chris) Lind, Peggy (Rick) Ronovsky, and the late Susan (Steve) Pieritz; grandmother of Tami (Dave) Walters, Jenny (Todd) Langellier, Scott (Kerry) Pieritz, Nick Kalina, Jonathan (Jamie) Kalina, Daniel Smigla, Joey (Molly) Ronovsky, Jaclyn (Kevin) McMillin, Dalton Lind, and the late Ryan Smigla; great-grandmother of Drew Walters, Trever Walters, Hope Pieritz, Riley Pieritz, Jacob Langellier, Matthew Langellier, Grace Kalina, Sadie Kalina, Austin Kalina, Briana Kalina, Nathan Smigla, Payton Ronovsky, Will Ronovsky, Charlie Ronovsky, James McMillin, and Connor McMillin; fond sister of Joann (Joe) Maher, the late Elaine (Bob) Peterhans, the late William (Paula) Riordan, and the late Jean (Nick) Thermos; aunt of many nieces and nephews; longtime loving companion of Donald Vogt and special thank you to niece Jeanne Vogt.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 25, with prayers from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1501 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

GEORGIANA LEONETTI
Georgiana Leonetti (nee Dowmondz) passed away August 16, 2021, at the age of 87. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, by the late George and Anna (Ligman) Dowmondz. She leaves behind five children, Armand (Amy) Leonetti, Rae (Mike) Galvin, Laurie (Ken) Storts, Lynn Kerlin and Bob (Amy) Leonetti. She was the sister of Audrey (Mike) Kazarian, grandmother of ten and great grandmother of six.
Georgiana called Lombard, Illinois, her home for many years and raised her five children there. She was an avid reader who especially loved British mysteries, “The Hobbit” and “Doctor Who.” Known for having a quick wit and a dry sense of humor. She loved animals, gardening, good music and a cold beer. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Daniel F. Reilley, age 89, of Lombard, IL, passed away surrounded by family on August 20, 2021.
Beloved husband of the late Jean Reilley, nee Moroni; loving father of Susan (James L.) Lindquist and Gail K. (Peter Grimaldi) Raitano; cherished grandfather of James D. (Kylie) Lindquist and Scott E. Lindquist; great grandfather of Lydia, Quinn, and Alex Lindquist; dear brother of Donald (Gloria) Reilley and the late Patricia (Robert) Tjardes; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews.

ELEANOR T. WIERE
Eleanor T. Wiere, née Thomas, age 95, of Lombard, passed away August 16, 2021.
Eleanor was the loving wife of 50 years of the late Melvin A; loving mother of Laurel (Jeffrey) Barker of Racine, Elizabeth (Robert) Swanson of St. Charles, Susan (Thomas) Ryan of Florida and Margaret “Marge” (Mark) Larson of Lombard and the late Pamela (Michael) Warns of Bensenville; fond grandmother of 12, Jeffrey (Amanda) Jr., Mary, Thomas (Devon), Patrick, Michelle, Lisa (Fiancée Chris Behrendt), Laura (Chris), Robin (Brad), Eric (Stancey), Jake, Grace (Fiancée Arek), Rachel and the late Amanda Barker; great-grandmother of 4 and aunt of Tom (Maureen) Bacha and Janice (Carl) Schill. She was preceded by her sister, Audrey Bacha.
Eleanor had been a resident of Lombard since 1955. She had been active at the First United Methodist Church in Lombard for over 60 years, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Circle. She was a former Administrative Assistant at General Foods.
Eleanor was a homemaker, gardener, card player and crossword puzzle enthusiast. She was the “picture lady” at Green Valley School. She loved to travel. Eleanor was a past PTA President and a past member of the G.E.M.’s (Mother’s Club) at Glenbard East High School.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 23, with Eleanor Lying-in-State from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 155 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park.

MARGARET A.K. ZIELSKE
Margaret “Maky” A.K. Zielske, 75, of Lombard, died on August 6th, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald H.; loving mother of Catherine Z. (Eric) Neiswender of Appleton, Wisconsin; and Anne Z. (Andrew) Willett of Georgetown, Kentucky; Fond grandmother of Martin; dear sister of Edward (Kay) Kendall of Glen Ellyn; twin sister of the late Karen Kendall; Adored by many nieces and nephews; dear sister-in-law of William (Anita) of Addison, Robert (the late Jackie) of Florida, Rita (the late Eugene) Jenzen of Lombard; Daughter of the late Ellis and the late Althea Kendall of Walworth, Wisconsin; and friend of Bill.
Margaret was born while her dad was stationed in Panama during his time in the US Army Corp of Engineers, during WWII. She moved to Lombard in 1966 and graduated from Glenbard High School and College of DuPage. She was a member of P.E.O. She lived on Maple Street for many years. She volunteered with the local cat shelter, Cat Guardians. She was an active member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church, where she was a Stephens Minister, former choir member, and part of a number of committees within the church. She also was a member of the Morton Arboretum. Margaret had worked for the tax preparer and as a secretary for Glenbard School District 87.
A Memorial Gathering will held on Friday, September 3, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln Ave., Lombard. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace. Following interment, all are welcome to join the family for a luncheon at church.
