Willowbrook High School’s Class of 2021 will celebrate its commencement with two ceremonies on Sunday, May 23, in the school’s main gymnasium. This year’s graduating class includes 474 students. About half of those students will take part in a ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. The other half of this year’s graduates will participate in the ceremony that starts at 11 a.m. Two members of Willowbrook’s Class of 2021—Sarah Fairbank (left) and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Martynenko (right)—will speak during both of Sunday’s services. Fairbank, who is a Villa Park resident, will attend the University of Notre Dame. Martynenko, who lives in Lombard, will attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
