JANE ELLEN BARBER
Jane Ellen Barber went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 10, 2021, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on July 15, 1951.
She is survived by her husband Bob; her three children, Michael (Leah) Barber, Dunlap, Illinois, Mary (Kurt) Lubben, Gillette, Wyoming, Lisa Barber, Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren (Amelia, Lucy, Madi, Josh and Claire); along with her brother, Joseph (Brenda) Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Frank and Helen Fitzgerald.
Jane was proud to be a lifelong Lombardian. She attended Willowbrook High School, graduating in 1969. She met her husband, Bob, when they were working at Oxford Products in Addison, and they were married for 43 years. She worked a variety of jobs throughout the years, but none as important as the time and care she devoted at home. Jane loved spending time with family and always did everything she could to make sure they were loved and cherished. She attended Harvard Church and had a very special friendship with her neighbors and prayer partners of over 30 years.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 10 (location to be determined). Memorials may be made to Seasons Hospice of Illinois.

MARY ANN CHRISTIANSON
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Christianson. She passed away peacefully on Jan. 17, 2021, at the age of 86, surrounded by her children at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

MARY ANN CIRULLO
Mary Ann Cirullo (nee Luna), age 74, of Lombard, passed away Feb. 13, 2021.

ANITA N. DICKSON
Anita N. Dickson, nee Nelson, age 81, of Lombard, passed away February 8, 2021, at her home.
Anita was the beloved wife of the late Glenn and loving daughter of the late Anton and the late Ingrid Nelson. She was the dear friend of Tom and Be-Be Mosillo and Tom and Marian Linsenmeyer.
Anita had been a resident of Lombard for 30 years. She was a member of the A.A.U.W. and of the PEO. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir.
Anita was an accomplished artist and was the Art Director at College of DuPage and also was Chairman of the Art Department there.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, February 10, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment followed at Acacia Park Cemetery, Norridge.

JAMES T. HOOPER
James T. Hooper, of Villa Park, passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 91. Loving husband of Connie Hooper, nee Fetrow; loving father of Madeline Hooper and Jo-Ann Hooper; fond brother of the late Betty Mack and the late Bill Hooper; he will be greatly missed by his furry child Frankie. JOHN R. HORN
John R. Horn, age 51, of Lombard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
John was the loving husband of Kathleen; beloved father of Mitchell and Monica Horn, and stepfather of Allison Yuknis; cherished son of the late Gene and the late Shirley Horn, nee Schalkey; dear brother of the late Keith Horn, Laura (Tim Kolzow) McNeece, and Bill Horn; and cousin and uncle of many.
John and his family moved to Lombard from Le Sueur, Minnesota, when he was nine. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, problem-solving skills, integrity, and his faith. He had a strong love for kayaking, especially on his favorite creek in Michigan, accompanied with an occasional cigar.
He enjoyed fixing things, and exploring the many eras of technology, which led him to his career of network administrator at Woodridge School District.
He often watched NCIS, was fond of cooking, liked playing euchre and loved listening to many genres of music. He was a tremendous husband and father who often stated to his kids to be ‘kindly affectionate.’ He always thought of others and loved to share his stories with those that were lucky enough to hear them. John will be dearly missed by so many.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church in Lombard.

BETTE LEDLOW
Bette Ledlow left us peacefully on 2-15-21. Elizabeth Catherine Voltz was born 2-28-33 to Fred and Minnie Voltz, Chicago. Survived by sister Patricia (Charles) Corso, ex Jim Ledlow, children Maria (Larry) Lloyd, Howie, Kim, Jeff (Peggy), Cindy, Tom (Karla). 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren will miss her dearly. Another great grandchild is on the way! She adored her nieces and nephews. Bette loved sharing accomplishments, pictures and stories family sent. She texted family every day Her sister enjoyed telling all that her older sister could text and that she didn’t. A die hard Bears and Sox fan. Many radio station contests were won with her vast knowledge and love for sports. Her great sense of humor and generosity is what drew those of all ages to her. Our mother was the rock, confident and glue that held us all together.

EMMA R. VOSS
Emma Rateike Voss, age 104, of Lombard, passed away Feb. 10, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late William Harold Voss (2011); loving mother of Sharon Henryson and Janet Emery; grandmother of Jennifer Lisa, Elizabeth and the late Jacob W.; great-grandmother of Tyler Jay. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Elmhurst and was the Spanish Editor for the Lions Club International.
