Richard L. Pracht, 91

Richard L. Pracht, of Elmhurst, passed quietly in his sleep on the morning of August 2, 2016, at the age of 91. Devoted husband of Julia A. Pracht nee Brand; loving father of Martha (Baxter) Phillip and the late Douglas Pracht (1957-1973); beloved grandfather of Taylor (Meaghan) Phillip and Brent (Ali) Phillip. Richard was born to William and Esther Pracht and raised in St. Charles, Ill. He graduated from Northwestern University after serving in the U.S. Army. He became an accountant and enjoyed a long career with American Steel Foundries (Amsted) in Chicago and also worked for Elmhurst College. He was a faithful servant of Christ, an active member of Yorkfield Presbyterian Church and volunteered delivering meals to others for many years. He enjoyed nature, traveling the U.S. with Julia by car, participating in Elderhostel programs and doing crossword puzzles. Memorial Services were held on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church, 1099 S. York, Elmhurst. Memorials will be appreciated for Missions at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church. Ronald D. Reinke, 72

Ronald D. Reinke, longtime resident of Elmhurst, passed away recently at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Bonnie nee Stolper for 52 years; loving father of David (Deborah) Reinke, Dawn (Lawrence) Lesko and Dana Reinke; grandfather of Tori Lesko, Douglas Lesko, Rachel Lesko, Daniel Reinke, Stephanie Reinke, Alexis Draves, Tyler Draves and Kylie Heumann; dear son of the late Herbert and Edna Reinke; brother of Linda Graunke and Robert Reinke; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ronald was a member of the 1962 York High School Elite Eight Basketball Team. He was also involved in many charitable organizations in the western suburbs. Funeral service was held Friday, July 29, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 142 E. Third St. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. Cecilia Rita Putz, nee Laketek

Cecilia Rita Putz, nee Laketek, passed away at peace on July 28, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Norbert Francis Putz. Loving mother of Ken (Mary) Marshall, Kristine (Jeff) Vann, Rosanne (late Frank) Linden, Patti (Mark) Jensen, Michael (Patricia) Vanhal and Connie (Dr. Fran) Kania. Dearest grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 11. Dear sister of the late Mary (Roman) Binder, late Anne (Dominic) Kment, late Father Victor Laketek, O.S.B., late Father Gilbert Laketek, O.S.B. and the late Sister Celine Laketek, O.S.B.  Cecilia retired from Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, was a member of Lombard Senior Choir and a longtime active parishioner at St. Alexander Church. Visitation was held on Tuesday Aug. 2, 2016, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at St. Alexander Church, 300 S.
